Once upon a time he was a baseball player...

BigTom is one of the more interesting artists working today.  Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania he grew up with dreams like every young boy to play baseball.  Although baseball was his first passion, art shortly followed.  Pens, pencils, paint, even re-arranging his room.  Nothing was safe from his creativity.  If you ask BigTom when he wanted to become a photographer he never gives a clear answer.  He responded, "Everything I did was a picture, sometimes it was pencil and paper, sometimes a canvas, and now its throught the lens."  Maybe thats why his pictures have that little something you can't put your finger on, but looks different.

Dubbed "The Modern Day Rennaisance Man", BigTom does a little of everything.  Four days a week you will find him behind the chair at A Robert Cromeans Salon at Mandalay Bay where he works as a ONE Freelance Artist and also is National Educator when duty calls.  BigTom has worked for Robert for 12+ years as a hairdresser and has no plans to stop cutting hair anytime soon.  If you happen to be in Las Vegas during the Halloween season you will find BigTom working with his team conquering BodyPainting competitions and bringing color to the strip one body at a time.

Have some blank wall space?  Look no further.  BigTom has been painting since he was in diapers so canvases were a natural progression.  His style is somewhere between Jackson Pollock, Basquiat, mixed with a little street painter.  Always something different to look at his paintings are colorful and complicated.

With some many different hats to wear its hard to keep up.  Follow BigTom on Youtube to see some of the very best hilites from his events, contests, photoshoots, and more.
